The Rock Pool Amenities Block

The Rock’s new swimming complex provides a useful and convenient leisure space during the hot summer months with its 25 m outdoor pool and undercover baby pool.

Adaptive Interiors constructed the building which offers all-abilities access to hot water showers and bathroom amenities, a gym facility and canteen. The entry features a rising façade with a cheery combination of yellow and sky blue, creating a sunny vibe and enticing environment for family outings.

We were delighted to build this aquatic centre for the Lockhart Shire Council and provide a safe and relaxing public space to help foster rural communities like The Rock around NSW.

This project involved the renovation of amenities at The Rock public swimming pool complexes.

Adaptive Interiors were engaged to deliver a turn-key project including demolition, construction, services, seating and toilet partitions. Concurrently, Lockhart Shire was undertaking major swimming pool works immediately adjacent.

This was in effect close to a live working environment, and Adaptive Interiors was able to deliver without any major disruption.

The outcome is a first class amenities facility in what is one of Lockhart's prime public spaces.
