Sportscraft Fit-out, Wagga Wagga
Nestled amongst the bustling, tree-lined streets of wagga CBD lies the newly refurbished Sportscraft store.
As Australia’s oldest apparel brand, Sportscraft is known for its quality, craftmanship and history, and keeping that in mind, every aspect of the project was dealt with care and attention-to-detail.
The project was carried out in two stages: defit of the existing space & fit-out of the new. As part of the defit process, the team demolished the existing store located in the Wagga Wagga Marketplace. The work involved removal and disposal of the existing ceiling, internal walls and fixtures.
Fitting out their new store, the stunning heritage building on Baylis street involved reinstatement of the ceiling tiles, fitting out and painting of all internal wall surfaces, installation of timber floor coverings, electricals, plumbing and joinery. The colour palette of this fit out primarily incorporated olive green, duck egg blue and white, ensuring that it was in line with the branding and imagery of Sportscraft.
The entire project was completed within a tight timeframe of 6 weeks and well within the budget whilst making sure quality was not compromised. To ensure all project promises were met, the A team worked day and night hours to create an improved retail experience and a visually enhanced shopfront in Wagga’s growing CBD.
Overall, shopfitting for a well-known brand with a rich history and legacy was a great experience for the entire team. We are confident that this brand new Sportscraft store is sure to make many heads turn, appeal more customers and increase foot traffic.
